On Saturday, March 19, 2022, the remains of the late Professor Dr. Amos Claudius Sawyer will be taken to:
The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer

Baltimore, Maryland 21210
Viewing and Wake-keeping will commence at 9:30 a.m. and end at 10: 45 a.m.
Memorial Service will commence at 11:00 a.m.
All Tributes, except those printed in the Program, must be paid during the Wake-Keeping.

The Book of Condolence for the late Professor Sawyer will be opened at the Centennial Memorial Pavilion from 1 o’clock post meridian to 4 o’clock post meridian.

Governance Commission Day, “Celebrating the Legacy of Professor Dr. Amos Claudius Sawyer” will be held at the Monrovia City Hall at 11 o’clock ante meridian.
Thursday, March 31, 2022
There will be a Day of Honor at the University of Liberia Main Campus.
Friday, April 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon
The Body will be conveyed under appropriate military escort from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home in Sinkor, to the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 10th Street, Sinkor, for “Home Final Visitation” from 2 o’clock post meridian to 4 o’clock post meridian. At 4 o’clock post meridian, the Body will be conveyed to the Trinity Cathedral on Broad Street, where a Requiem Mass Wake-Keeping will be held from 5 o’clock post meridian to 9 o’clock post meridian.

Funeral Rites will be held over the remains of the late Professor Sawyer at the Centennial Memorial Pavilion at 10 o’clock ante meridian, to be followed by interment at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn, Brewerville, Montserrado County.
As a mark of last respect and tribute to Dr. Amos Claudius Sawyer, the late Former President, Interim Government of National Unity of the Republic of Liberia, the President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has declared a period of mourning during which time the national ensign of the Republic will be flown at half-mast from all Public Buildings from Tuesday, March 29, 2022 to Saturday, April 2, 2022.
