families announce with profound sadness the
passing of Stephen Daniel Clarke, Jr. in his
55th year. This mournful event occurred during
the early morning of Friday, November 12, 2010
at the John F Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Liberia,
West Africa.
Stephen, Steve, Danio, S. Daniel, S.D. Marlin
Bruno as he was affectionately called
by family and friends leaves to mourn his early
demise, three children, Stephanie Danlette Clarke
Brooks, Stephen Daniel Clarke, Jr. and
Danielle Elaine Clarke; one grandchild, Isaiah
Brooks; two sisters, Sarah Deborah Clarke, and
Gladys Lewis Clarke Turkett; four brothers,
Arthur Ebenezer Clarke, Marcus D. Freeman, Isaac
Beverly Clarke and Lawrence Kweku Donkor Turkett;
one aunt, Geneva Turkett McClean; two
foster aunts, Joan Curtis and Henrietta Davis

As requested by the children of the deceased,
the families announce that there will be a memorial
service during the Fall Break of next year in
the city of Chicago where Stephen lived and
worked for 16 years before relocating to Liberia
in May 2010. Details will be announced later.
