The
changing face of Monrovia
In
2006, when I made the decision to return to
Liberia to live, I got many questions from family
and friends who wanted to know why was I making
such a major move at that point in my life and
career. They were concern about my decision
and it's effects on my life, and although the
jury is still out, I can safely say that the
number one reason I wanted to come home which
was to "witness the reconstruction of
Liberia" is being realized.
In
the 3 years since moving home to Liberia, I
have witness many changes especially in respect
to developmental and infrastructure changes,
along Tubman Blvd. in Sinkor and on the Robertsfield
Highway.
From
1st Street in Sinkor all the way pass Red Light,
things are changing. New building projects are
starting up and entire communities are surfacing
along the Robertsfield Highway. My goal with
this series of pictures is to show you the changes
that are underway and pictures of things to
come.
